A much-anticipated enhancement, the new version of the Pricing Quote report helps  speed up and standardize the critical first step of every project, providing clear and accurate estimates of labor and expenses. No matter what engagement model you use—whether Fixed Fee, Time & Materials, or a combination—you can automatically generate quotes for any and all of your projects.

Gross Margin Report

The financial health of your project and your business is critical at every stage, and Gross Margin reports allow you to keep a close eye on it. By monitoring your project’s gross margin in real time, you can take proactive steps to avoid potential financial issues and ensure that your project stays on track.

Invoicing Status Tracking

To give you a clearer understanding of where your tasks and expenses stand, we’ve added invoicing status to the task dimension. Now, you can easily see the progress of each time entry and expense in relation to billing. This feature is integrated across our system, and you can access it from both the tasks module and various reports, ensuring you’re always up to date on when to invoice next.

New contract type: Percentage of completion

In our continued effort to support diverse project billing models,, EVX Software now supports the Percentage of Completion contract type. This new option allows you to bill clients based on the percentage of work completed at various stages of a project. This is especially useful for long-term or phased projects, where progress can be tracked and invoiced incrementally as milestones are reached. By providing visibility into both task completion and financial performance in real time, the Percentage of Completion contract type helps ensure smoother cash flow, improved client communication, and better alignment with project goals. Whether you’re working with Fixed Fee, Time & Materials, or now Percentage of Completion, EVX Software offers flexibility to suit your project’s needs.

New bulk actions: Assign multiple entries with ease

With version 3.11.2, we’ve added a bulk assign option to the Time Entries and Expense tabs to simplify the process of managing project allocations. Now, you can select one or many time entries and assign them to a specific task with ease. Additionally, within the Expenses tab, you can do the same—selecting multiple budgeted or actual expenses and assigning them to the corresponding task. While you’ll need to perform the action separately for budgeted and actual expenses, this feature allows for faster, more efficient invoicing and billing. By ensuring that time and expenses are correctly allocated to the appropriate tasks, the bulk action functionality not only saves time but also helps maintain accuracy and clarity in your project management workflow.

Security enhancements

We’ve made enhancements to user security. You may notice prompts to update your password more frequently, and certain actions may now require password verification for added security. These changes are designed to keep your data safe while ensuring a smooth experience.
